Montblanc Great Characters Homage to The Great Gatsby Special Edition Rollerball

The Montblanc Great Characters Homage to The Great Gatsby Special Edition Rollerball celebrates F. Scott Fitzgerald’s literary masterpiece and the glamour of Jazz Age New York. A special surface treatment gives its blue and black precious-resin body the appearance of illuminated Art Deco skyscrapers against an evening sky.

The fluorescent Montblanc emblem absorbs light during the day and glows in darkness, recalling the green light at the end of Daisy Buchanan’s dock. Its platinum-coated clip resembles a money clip and incorporates Jay Gatsby’s initials within a gold-coated Art Deco monogram.

The cone references the screw cap of a period hip flask, while slender rings in the colours of the American flag evoke the American Dream that lies at the heart of the novel.
