Montblanc Great Characters Queen Roler

Montblanc Great Characters Homage to Queen Special Edition Rollerball

The Montblanc Great Characters Homage to Queen Special Edition Rollerball pays tribute to a band that transformed the history of rock music. Inspired by Queen’s celebrated 1991 compilation album Greatest Hits II, the design reflects the group’s theatrical spirit, musical virtuosity and enduring creative legacy.

The cap and barrel are crafted from deep blue precious resin with a distinctive pattern, echoing the album’s striking colour palette. Yellow gold-coated fittings provide an elegant contrast, while the cap top takes its sculptural form from the crown worn by Freddie Mercury during performances of God Save the Queen.

The specially shaped clip resembles Freddie Mercury’s iconic microphone stand. The cone incorporates details inspired by the volume and tone controls of Brian May’s famous electric guitar, including delicate fluting, a small red accent and an engraving marking the release date of Greatest Hits II.

Its refillable rollerball system delivers smooth, fluid and precise writing, making this Montblanc Special Edition both a practical luxury instrument and a meaningful collector’s tribute to Queen.
