WATCHES AND WATCH WINDERS
An automatic watch is powered by a mechanical movement that winds as you wear it. A quartz watch uses a battery-powered movement. The movement type is listed in the details of each watch.
A watch winder gently rotates an automatic watch when it is not being worn. This helps keep it wound and ready to wear, particularly if you alternate between several watches.
Watch winders are intended for automatic watches. Quartz watches and manually wound watches do not need one.
The appropriate rotation direction and number of turns per day depend on the watch movement. Check the watch manufacturer’s guidance or contact our team with the watch model before setting your winder.
