Baume & Mercier Riviera Baumatic 42mm

The Baume & Mercier Riviera 10702 offers a sophisticated expression of contemporary sport-chic design. Introduced as part of the 2022 Riviera collection, it retains the powerful silhouette and distinctive twelve-sided bezel of the original model launched in 1973.

Its polished and satin-finished 42mm stainless-steel case is defined by a dodecagonal bezel secured with four visible screws. The transparent smoky-grey sapphire dial reveals elements of the mechanical movement beneath it, giving the watch a technical and visually intriguing character.

Rhodium-plated Dauphine hands with white Super-LumiNova provide excellent legibility, while a discreet date display adds practical everyday functionality. The Manufacture Baumatic automatic movement operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour and provides an exceptional power reserve of approximately 120 hours—or five days.

The movement can also be admired through the screwed sapphire crystal case back. An integrated polished and satin-finished stainless-steel bracelet completes the watch and incorporates Baume & Mercier’s Fast Strap system, allowing it to be exchanged without tools.
